POLITICS:THE DIRTY GAME
Through a televised address on Monday the outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta expressed his and his family's best wishes to Dr Ruto as he takes over mantles of power as kenya's fifth president.
He also affirmed ready to hand over power to the new president William Ruto in an inauguration ceremony to be held at the Moi International sports centre in Kasarani.
However,it is no secret that the two came to disagreements after the Handshake that saw Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga unified.
Later on,the outgoing president would publicly humiliate his deputy terming him a"Thief" urging kenyans not to vote for him.
Mr Uhuru was in support of Raila Odinga the presidential candidate for Azimio la umoja one kenya alliance has at last congratulated Dr Ruto a day before his swearing in ceremony.
In his speech,Mr Kenyatta also urged Dr Ruto to be a leader of all Kenyans and not just those who voted for him so that the country can be united.
